However, in its absence I’ve been enjoying the Banh Mi at Banh Mi Saigon on Mott (north of Canal), as well as Baoguette on Lex and 25th. Baoguette has been mixed though… sometimes the bread is perfect – brown and crusty – sometimes it’s pale and anemic. If they solved their consistency, it would be great.
